The Wax Seal from Tornio Railway Station has been reported used for censorship purposes.
I have been able to add photos of some of the censor stamps, thanks to the assistance of the Postimuseo.
Tornio – your input are welcome:
Personal Mark of Järvinen,
CS 1 Mark 5, (The red font illustrates a wrong or suspicious date)
and CS2, Mark 8, have an overlap in time, and the reporting of 25 Feb. 1916 (listed in T&K) is a misreading.
What is the latest use of the CS 1, Mark 8 you can report, please?
Personal mark of Reuter, CS 1 Mark 10 listed in T&K, as used 19 Aug. 1916, but use of the CS 2 Mark 10 (same censor) has been reported from 14 Dec. 1915. What is your latest use of Cs 1 Mark 10, please?
CT 7 / 7a – we miss good illustrations of this mark, what can you offer? CT 7 is the only CT with the spelling of “Öppnat af” (without “S” in “Öppnats”)
I am gathering information on known examples of the following CS’s / CT’s – please report your copy with JPG of the front and back:
How about this one?
