About Me

I am Jon Iversen, a Danish postal historian and stamp collector, model 1960, occupation: ship broker.

I have been collecting Russian Postal Censorship in Finland since the 1990s and many of the items in this catalogue are from my collection, which after many years I have finally presented at an exhibition in 2023, and which is to be shown in October at Hafnia 2024 in Copenhagen

Today I am the editor of this website and maintain the content and catalogue files. A large part of this work is not mine as I try to continue the work of other skilled philatelists. I’ll try in the best possible way to update, improve, and spread the knowledge and information to as many people as possible, to give the subject the place in postal history that I think it deserves.

There are so many interesting matters to be studied in this area that deserve to be brought to light and shared with other collectors. I hope more people will take part in the research by reporting their findings.
